CAL - Holiday Baubles Blanket

 Announcing Holiday Baubles Blanket CAL



The Crochet Along will start on October 21!

Stay home for the holidays and join Cascade Yarns and myself  for a CAL using Cascade Yarns Anthem. The Holiday Baubles Blanket is a 9 part CAL running from October 21st  through December 16th.  Every Wednesday for nine weeks, a new part will be published. You will make the specified components each week, and finally join them all together to create a beautiful Holiday Blanket. Finished measurements will be 59" x 69".

 

The Holiday Baubles Blanket will also require:

 I (5.5 mm) crochet hook

Tapestry needle

Scissors

      The completed sample is 59" X 69". It fits my queen size bed nicely.

      You don't have to buy a yarn kit, but I know that some of the suppliers are offering special discounts so you might want to check them out. Feel free to use the yarn of your choice, including your stash. :)

      Look in this post for links to all the shops that are selling kits. You can most likely order online. If no kits are available, you can substitute any worsted weight yarn you like instead.

      FPDC is a front post double crochet stitch. All of the stitch definitions should be listed on page 2 of each pattern pdf, as well as in my blog posts. If you're having trouble, take a look at the video. Tania does a great job demonstrating how it's all done. :)

      The patterns are free on my blog in nine parts. You can print out each part individually by using the print icon at the bottom of each post. Or you can purchase the patterns in PDF form on Ravelry for a small fee. Link is provided.
