National Crochet Month 2022

Hey y’all!

Today is a little celebration of two new things.

Firstly, I want to tell you that I will be launching a brand new website next week. I’ve been working on a little rebranding lately, and decided to take the plunge with a new website.  All of my blog posts, including free patterns, will still be there, and I’ll be adding more free patterns as I go. The launch date isn't quite set yet, so be sure to CHECK IN regularly and CHECK OUT the new site! If you visit this blog, you will be redirected to the new website. Otherwise here’s the address for my new site – www.mocrochetmakes.com

Secondly, I’m  celebrating National Crochet Month (NatCroMo.) This year I am again participating in Crochetville’s NatCroMo Designer Blog Tour. The theme is “Pawprints on our Hearts.” Each participating designer will share with you their pets, if applicable.

If you are a member of my
Facebook Group – MoCrochet Makers, then you will be familiar with Oscar. He’s my outside orange tom who adopted us. I’ve adopted many outside cats over the years – or should I say that they adopted me. I’ve moved twice over the past several years, and they have all stayed in their their own environments. I miss all my kitties, and think about them often.

Here’s Oscar doing what he does best – lazing in the sun. You can see in the first photo that he’s right next to the front door, as the welcome mat is to the left. We were bringing in groceries that day, and even after multiple trips in and out, Oscar never woke up. He really must have been tired from gallivanting around the neighborhood all night.

In celebration of NatCroMo, I have a special promotion in progress. I’m offering 25% off all of my self-published patterns in my Ravelry pattern store. No limits. Just add your patterns to your cart and enter the special code – natcromo. This promotion runs until end of day 04/30/2022.

Thank you for stopping by today! This is my last post on this blog and I hope to see you next week at my new virtual home.
