I designed this scarf especially for the holiday season. I used Butterfly Mercerized Cotton Super-10 in Color# 3766 - Leaf. Using a lighter weight yarn would make the scarf narrower and lacier. I would love to see other versions of the pattern worked up.

I finally received my teal and brown yarn for the Hello Kitty afghan. The colors are very pretty and rich looking. The white kitty faces will really "pop" on this background. I'm not sure yet what kind of squares I will make, but I'm thinking they will be 14". This link will show you my schematics for the afghan. I will get back to work on it this weekend.
